Why do Yankees bad mouth the south over slavery when it was a yankee that prolonged slavery?

Fact, slavery was dying in the south and the cotton gin made it worth while to keep slaves. Why did yankees back then **** black folk so much.

What’s more important, the Yankees missing the play offs, or your team making the play offs?

I realize you can **** the Yankees all you want, but it seems to me that many fans find it easier to root against the Yankees making the play offs than their own teams making it there. Why? Is it because maybe your team isn’t so successful? Fans will also say that they haven’t won a WS since 2000, well neither have the Cubs, Tigers, Indians, Reds & about 90% of the league.
