Babe Ruth and Lou Gherig’s Yankees? Joe DiMaggio’s? Or how about the Yankees of the sixties with Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris? I kind of like the Oakland A’s of the seventies. I despised the Big Red Machine with Pete Rose but you had to respect them. The current Yankees have some great players but they just don’t seem to work as a team. Who was the greatest? Who did I miss?
